Fun at the Dunes

This last weekend, our friends Rob and Greta came up to spend the day with us at the Warren Dunes along Lake Michigan. We usually go just to swim and soak up the sun - but a trip to the dunes wouldn't be complete without climbing them. So we tackled that monster there in the background - and yes, even Baby Knight made the climb!

Annual Anderson Get-Together

Every year - twice a year - Tim and his best friends get-together on New Years and the 4th of July. They've been such a great example of what it means to stay in touch with those people who mean so much to you. Everyone graduated from Anderson University except Jenni and myself. This year Steve and Jenni hosted the group at their brand-new (and beautiful) home in Indy.

LOOK Who's 30!

So I'm going to try out this whole 'blog' thing that was just introduced to me - just because I want to keep in contact with people. So this is a disclaimer for any confusion you may experience in trying to decipher what I'm saying, when I said it and what picture goes with what description. Just hang in there with me and I'll find my way eventually :)

Wow... if I think about how much 'catching-up' I'd have to do from the past years, I'd get pretty overwelmed. So I've decided that there's no place (aka time) like the present. And that's where I'll start - July 2006. And on one day in particular - July 28 - because that is my hubby's 30th birthday. Although he'd rather forget, his family has already helped him celebrate - twice.


In addition to a ball and bat for 'home-run derby'... my sister Kendra got him his favorite snack - Freeze Pops!
