Yes, a Proud Sister

Stahl, Drummond named Athletes of the Week
FOR RELEASE March 26, 2007

HUNTINGTON, IN—The Huntington University Athletic Department announced its Athletes of the Week for the week of March 19-25. Women’s softball junior Kendra Stahl and men’s baseball freshman Andrew Drummond earned the honor for their outstanding efforts during the week’s competition.

Kendra Stahl, a physical education major from Archbold, Ohio (Archbold High School), helped lead the Foresters to a successful spring break week of action by leading the team in hitting and playing error-free throughout the nine games. Stahl went 10 for 24 at the plate, which included a double and a triple for a .417 average. She also was five for five in stolen bases for the week. The Foresters return to action on March 27 when they travel to Indiana Wesleyan University at 3 p.m.

And the Madness Continues...

Ok, I've been holding off posting this for awhile because I didn't want to jinx myself. But this is honestly the most beautiful NCAA bracket I have ever filled out. Yes - I'm bragging, and yes - it's not perfect, but for someone who could care less about basketball games the 11 other months of the year... Come on, you
have to admit - I look pretty doggone good :)

(and I'm also posting it now because - as you can see - I have Ohio State winning the whole thing... and with the way they've been playing lately, this bracket could very well be trash in about one week...)

Ummm... and we won't even talk about Tim's bracket...

More Pics of Nate

I've been so slow at getting these up... but I wanted to post a few more pictures of Nate's week home. Your continued prayers for him, as well as our family, are so appreciated as he prepares to deploy.

Of course we've got to have our favorite pizza while he's home - Jim's Pizza in Kendallville, IN - as we hang out with the Rogers side of the family.

Nate with Uncle Bruce, Aunt Beth, Laura (and Lyndsey is on the phone in Nate's hand :)

"Thanks" to our family friend Dave, who took Nate out to do one of his favorite things - ice fishing.

Spending time together - and what better way than around a puzzle? One of three we finished that week.

Nate and his dog.

Keeping the cut "high 'n tight".

Operation "Letter"

Thank you to all our friends and family for the TREMENDOUS response Kendra and I received in support letters for Nate. Because of you, us sisters were able to present Nate with over 80 cards, notes and letters this last week letting him know of your prayers and support as he prepares to deploy. As you can tell... it not only surprised him, but meant the world to him as well.

Our family had a very special (but of course, way too quick) week with my brother. I'll post more pictures in a few days.

Thanks again to everyone who helped us shower him with support and prayers.
