Pappa's Day and Pizza

What a great Father's Day weekend. Tim and I are so blessed to live close to both of our Dads and to be able to spend time with each of them.

Saturday evening Mom and Dad Stahl met us in Angola - the "halfway point" between Archbold, OH and Osceola, IN. We had supper at Pizza Hut (which works because Angola has a "thatched roof" Pizza Hut and not a "red roof" one. A good friend of mine - and a one time Pizza Hut waitress - told me the difference between the two once and I've tried to avoid the "red roof" ever since. Yeah, I know, Tim's says I'm weird too...)
Anyway, after pizza we had just enough room for some DQ to top off the night!
Then Sunday, while Tim, his brother-in-law Sean and Dad Bontrager went golfing in Middlebury, us girls spent the afteroon swimming in the sun. Kaitlyn and Taylor sure are little swimmers and fearless in the water! But boy, how much fun were they? The guys joined us later and brought... what else? Pizza.

Happy Father's Day Grandpa Bontrager!

And feeding Uncle "miT" some goldfish.

Gators Up North

Yesterday I took the day off work and along with my mom and Aunt Beth, met our aunt and second cousins who were up from Florida. Growing up, I was fortunate enough to get to know my second cousins almost as much as my first - so it was great to see Debi and Darrin again (the first time since Tim and my wedding almost 2 years ago!)
We met and ate at the Ft. Wayne Cracker Barrel (is there a better place??) and then sat outside and talked for over 2 hours. Seriously, isn't that why they put those nice rocking chairs out there anyway? It was just one of those great days made for family.
