Baseball & Running & Everything Else.

Even though we have yet to have a "hot" day here in Indiana, I know summer is officially here by how fast our weekends are filling up. And then we wonder why it goes by so fast... Not only have we been traveling to many of my sister's softball games (as in the previous post), but Tim and I are also coaching an Upward Soccer team through our church, and have a game each Saturday morning.

Two weeks ago, we traveled down to Anderson University where Tim and some of his baseball buddies were getting together for their 10-year reunion. Now, even though Tim hasn't officially been out of college that long, it's been 10 years since this particular team went to the College World Series. They had a great time reminiscing, eating dogs and burgers, and watching the current AU team play. The picture below is of just some of the guys that came that day...

Then this last weekend, Tim and I - along with Steve, Jenni & Aden - headed down to Cincinnati for the Flying Pig Marathon & Races. We all stayed with our friends Matt & Amanda and had a great weekend. Saturday morning, Amanda and the guys ran the 5K, while Jenni, Aden and I walked it. It would have been a beautiful day if it wasn't for the rain that came through at the exact time that everyone raced. Needless to say we were drenched by the time the day was over.

The girls - all dry and warm :)

... and no trip to Cincy would be complete with out some ribs from Montgomery Inn.
