Soccer Coaches
Tim and I are soccer coaches for 8 weeks out of the year.
Last year, our church started an Upward Soccer Program and we decided to co-coach a team. Had we ever coached (or played) soccer before? No. But the program makes it so easy to plan practices and learn drills - that we had a ton of fun (and a fantastic season). So when it came time to sign-up this year, we didn't hesitate. We have one practice a week and a game each Saturday morning. This past Saturday was our first game, and a turnout so big we had to park cars in the church lawn. It's such a terrific community outreach program (and lots of fun!)

And while I was away having fun, my husband was back here in the bathroom all weekend. No, no - not sick... laying his first tile floor. We decided the carpet in our bathroom just wasn't working anymore (ok, it never worked), so my handyman husband went to work. He even laid a heating system underneath to warm the tiles!
